Plan types: Scalar Field offers paid subscription plans, including Pro and Ultra (“Subscriptions”). Each Subscription may be purchased on a monthly or annual billing cycle (as selected at purchase).
Credits and allowances: Subscriptions include a
monthly allocation of usage credits and/or allowances, as displayed at the time of purchase. Credits are a usage currency that may be consumed to access and use Platform features, including (i) viewing or retrieving proprietary datasets and content across the Platform (such as data pages/modules and screeners), and (ii) running AI/compute features, including converting into
tokens (for AI context/processing) and
compute time (for executing workloads). Credits may also apply to other metered usage such as queries or similar platform actions, as displayed within the Platform or at checkout.
These allowances renew on a
monthly cycle:
- For monthly Subscriptions, allowances renew each month when the Subscription renews.
- For annual Subscriptions, allowances also renew each month during the annual term, until the end of the annual Subscription term.
Unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase, unused monthly allowances do not carry over to subsequent months.
Recurring billing: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, as selected at purchase) unless canceled before the renewal date. By purchasing a Subscription, you authorize Scalar Field and its payment processor to charge the applicable recurring fees until you cancel.
How to cancel: You can cancel a Subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible within your Scalar Field account (Profile → Accounts & Billing). Cancellations must be completed through the Stripe Customer Portal to take effect.
When cancellation takes effect: Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, canceling a Subscription stops future renewals and the Subscription remains active until the end of the then-current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features and allowances until the end of that billing period.
Annual Subscriptions: Annual Subscriptions are billed upfront for the full annual term. During an active annual Subscription, the account receives monthly allowances that renew each month throughout the annual term. Cancellation stops renewal for the next term but does not refund the current annual term, except where required by law.
Refunds and credits: All fees are non-refundable and Scalar Field does not provide refunds or credits for (i) partial subscription periods, (ii) unused subscription allowances, or (iii) periods where service access was available, except where required by law or explicitly agreed by Scalar Field in writing.
Customer responsibility: You are responsible for canceling your Subscription before the renewal date to avoid future charges and for managing your usage of subscription allowances and/or credits.
