Entry limit
You may enter up to 3 of your own trading agents before the entry deadline. Each agent counts as a separate competition entry and will be evaluated independently.

Editing & freeze
You may edit your strategies until entries close. At kickoff, each entry is forked into an isolated environment and frozen, so any changes made afterward will not affect your competition entry.

Shared kickoff
At kickoff, all forked entries will begin running at the same time in their isolated environments.

Starting capital
Every entry starts with exactly $10,000 in paper capital on the designated competition venue.
- 05
Position sizing
If your strategy is designed for a different amount of capital, make sure it sizes positions proportionally so it can effectively use the $10,000 available during the competition.

Shared kickoff
If your strategy is configured to open initial positions, those positions will only be entered at kickoff using the market prices available at that time.

Competition credits
Each strategy will receive a maximum of 2,000 credits for the competition. Refer docs for credit usage information.

Shared kickoff
Live standings will be public from kickoff through settlement, showing each entry's NAV and total return.

Settlement
At settlement, all strategies running in our isolated environments will be stopped and their final results will be calculated.

Ranking metric
Prizes and rankings are determined by each strategy's total return, calculated from the change in its Net Asset Value (NAV) over the competition period.
- 11
Final NAV
Final NAV includes remaining cash plus the marked-to-market value of all open positions, so positions do not need to be closed before settlement.
- 12
Tie-breaks
If two or more entries have the same final total return, ties will be broken in this order: higher realized P&L, higher win rate, then higher number of trades. If entries are still tied, the jury will make the final decision at its discretion.
All 12 rules apply equally to every entry, from kickoff to settlement.
